Vitalik Buterin may be the founder of Ethereum, but it seems that his own project is not the only one that he likes and admires. The guru of crypto community recently also praised the Zcash project on Twitter when asked about whether he comments on other coins or not.
He was asked that by the founder of ANON, a little known blockchain and cryptocurrency network, who along with his question also asked Vitalik to comment about ANON. Buterin, however, responded only to the previous part of question while ignoring the later. You can see the exchange of Tweets below:
> Do you comment on coins besides ETH? I was curious ??
I do sometimes. @zcashco is cool.

Zcash has also been praised by a number of other notable voices in crypto community. Not too long ago Coinbase announced that it’s considering adding Zcash to its platform along with 4 other coins. It was a major announcement and stamp of approval on the importance of Zcash in crypto community. The exchange said:
“We may also only enable certain ways to interact with these assets through our site, such as supporting only deposits and withdrawals from transparent Zcash addresses.”
Two days ago Zcash Foundation released an update in which it was stated that Zcash 2.0, which will be the first Sapling compatible version of Zcash, is set for a release today (i.e. 13th of August). The Zcash community is also going to organize its first ever conference dubbed Zcon0.
However, at the same time there’s also a group of people who believe that privacy coins like Zcash will give rise to cybercrime and other forms of criminal offenses. That’s why Coinbase said that they may enable only “certain ways to interact with these assets” through their platform.
