Jack Dorsey is one of those few internet entrepreneurs who believe in the power of Bitcoin. And he has made public his fascination about them once again, this time at a podcast. This time he has accepted publicly that he buys Bitcoin, and indirectly he also revealed the amount that he might have spent on buying BTC last week.

That’s right. While speaking at ‘Tales from the Crypt’ podcast on 4th of March the Twitter and Square CEO revealed how he came to experiment with Bitcoin early on. He also revealed what parallels he sees between Bitcoin and Twitter, and about “Stacking Sat Saturday” trend in which users buy $25 worth of Bitcoin every Saturday to highlight the growing adoption of cryptocurrencies. And this was the topic where he indirectly revealed the amount that he might’ve spent in BTC last week. He said:

“I saw that [Stacking Sat Saturday] on Twitter […] I would have participated but I have already exceeded my limit on CashApp. I can’t purchase anymore.”

Now, since the maximum weekly purchase limit for Bitcoin on Square-owned Cash app is $ 10,000, hitting the limit means that he had purchased BTC worth $10,000 in last week on Cash app. He also said that he may be able to participate in Stacking Sat Saturday next week as limits are refreshed every week.

Dorsey has previously admitted that the sole cryptocurrency he owns is Bitcoin, and that is because of his faith in the global adoption of Bitcoin. He has previously said that the world may one day have a single currency, and that currency may be Bitcoin. Most recently he had also said that Bitcoin is the currency of the internet, as it was born on the internet, developed on the internet and tested on the internet. Therefore, it’s not going anywhere.
