Tracking prices of Ripple is going to be quite an easy thing for Apple device users starting from today as now they’ll be able to track it from within the Stocks app itself. That’s right – Apple just added Ripple’s XRP token to its Stocks app with 10 fiat and 2 cryptocurrency pairs, so you won’t have to jump on to other apps to check the exchange rate of XRP from now on. You’ll be able to quickly convert from Ripple to following fiat currencies inside Apple Stocks app:
- US Dollar (USD)
- Euros (EUR)
- Great Britain Pounds (GBP)
- Indian Rupee (INR)
- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- Russian Rubble (RUB)
- Chinese Yuan (CNY)
- And Korean Won (KRW).
Besides these fiat currencies Ripple has also been paired with Bitcoin and Ethereum in the app so you can convert from XRP to BTC and ETH as well. The prices for these pairs will be tracked by NASDAQ, while prices for XRP-USD pair will be tracked by Bitstamp.
Integration with Apple Stocks may also allow one to simply ask Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, for the price of XRP in any particular currency. The life just got a lot easier!
Ripple, however, is not the first cryptocurrency added by Apple Stocks. Last week TRON was also added to the app, though it was not added with as many pairs as Ripple. The Ripple community was thrilled as this news became public. One user named EXTRA HARDCORE XRP wrote on Twitter:
“Apple has officially included $XRP pricing! Just add XRP-USD to your Stocks app. 1B @Apple users around the will be able to keep on top of #XRP market info. Come grow with us!”
Another user Jiminy Crypto also commented on Twitter:
“Same as everyone else though….everyone loves the tech…never announce xrp is part of their plans though”
The news has had a slightly positive impact on price of XRP. The price increased marginally from $0.6 to $0.61. Like all other major coins Ripple has also suffered from a bearish market. Hopefully this news can provide it some more relief in tomorrow’s trading session.
