Genesis Hack, the brainchild of International Blockchain Congress (IBC) Media, announced that they were tying up with Marlin Protocol. The Marlin Protocol is a blockchain protocol that offers a high-performance network infrastructure for modern decentralised networks.
According to the official announcement released by Genesis Hack, the duo will work together to bring a knowledge and technology base to the hackathon. The team from Marlin Protocol will offer technical support to all the participants (developers) at the hackathon. The Marlin Protocol representatives will also act as mentors to the developers and then judge the submissions at the hackathon.
Raghu Mohan, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at IBC Media said, “It is a rare learning opportunity for all the developers who are a part of Genesis Hack. Working with a talented team like Marlin’s will help Genesis Hack achieve the goal of developing, educating, and training blockchain-ready developers in India. We appreciate the support the Marlin team is offering us and are excited to work with them.”
Marlin Protocol is a blockchain protocol that offers a plug-in solution that can easily be integrated into the existing blockchain, decentralised applications, and p2p protocols and helps them scale up to 500x faster, the blogpost said.
Seconding Mohan’s sentiments, Nilotpal Mukherjee, Chief Business Officer at Marlin, said, “…at Marlin, we see an unparalleled potential in our partnership with Genesis Hack and in close collaboration, aim to make the best of blockchain development opportunity in India.”
It is a testament to how much buzz, the hackathon has generated as currently, there are 2200 registered developers. Apart from that, In January, they had the first online qualifier round in which they received close to 200 blockchain-based product submissions across all three tracks of the hackathon.
