Against the backdrop of the Yellow Vests protest in Paris, there is a bitcoin connection. A street artist has painted a mural with a puzzle enclosed, which when solved will lead to bitcoin worth 1000 pounds.
The artist Pascal Boyart said, “#StreetArt treasure hunt in Paris with a #Bitcoin puzzle
For the 10th birthday of the genesis block, I painted this frescoe in Paris with a 0,26btc ($1000) puzzle in it. Here’s the public key: 1NqPwPp7hEXZ3Atj77Ue11xAEMmXqAXwrQ Thanks to @alistairmilne for sponsoring this ?.”

He added that to solve the puzzle, the prize-seeker needed to be physically present in front of the mural. He said, “To solve the puzzle enterly, you must be physicaly in front of the mural. Here you can see the HD picture of the entire frescoe,” with the mural link attached.
Boyart added that these kinds of projects were only possible due to the public’s support and enclosed the public key so that people could make donations. At the time of writing, there had been nearly 6 transactions and 0.2874245 BTC which was $1,152.00.
The image is a reinterpretation of the famous Eugène Delacroix painting, Liberty Leading the People (La Liberté guidant le peuple in French), painted in 1830 during the French Revolution which toppled France’s monarchy, news portal Crypto Globe reported.
For the uninitated, Yellow Vest protest had kicked off two months ago when the French government had announced end of some of the fuel subsidies. Apart from fuel, the protest also represents discontent simmering among citizens due to various issues such as economic inequality and justice. Recently, the portal had reported on call issued by Max Keiser- a journalist who hosts Keiser Report on the Russian-government supported news channel Russia Today (RT)- to Yellow Vest protesters to convert their euros to bitcoin.
