For all those who are mourning the end of Game of Thrones, here’s a piece of news that might cheer you up. Jerome Flynn, the actor who played “Bronn” in Game of Thrones, recently joined the advisory board of a vegan lifestyle project. The product also has its own crypto token.
The Israel-based project known as VeganNation, is building an ecosystem, that will reportedly support vegans via a platform enabling the exchange of products and services that are “100 percent cruelty-free.” News portal CoinDesk quoted Flynn as saying, “Vegan Nation is the basis of an international vegan economy that makes vegan lives simpler, more economical, and better for the Earth and the soul of each of us. VeganCoin will allow many more to become vegans and thereby contribute to the reduction of our ecological footprint.”
The crypto token, named VeganCoin, went on pre-sale at the end of April, with 10 percent of proceeds to go to incentivize its ecosystem validators (or “rangers”) and community, according to the Vegan Nation “green paper,” the portal added. The project aims to track origin on food or products to make sure they are 100 percent vegan or cruel.
While it is an interesting project, it maybe a while before it sees any considerable growth. A website called Coin Intelligence said, “They have a well-experienced development and professional team members, yet their leadership and marketing lack adequate experience in the management of similar projects. The project’s marketing campaign hasn’t exhibited a considerable success, which has been reflected in their poor community outreach. This can greatly affect a token whose revenue system greatly relies on sales’ commissions. The project has no roadmap. There is no mention of how the ICO’s tokens will be distributed, or how the ICO’s funds will be channeled, which reflects poor financial planning as well.”
