Craig ‘Wrong’: After Binance More Exchanges Plan to Delist Bitcoin SV

The troubles of Bitcoin SV are increasing rapidly after delisting from Binance. Shapeshift has also announced that it will delist BSV, and Kraken is also considering the same.

It looks like Craig Wright has not done ‘right’ by taking the recent actions to prove that he is Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. Things have suddenly started going wrong for his Bitcoin SV altcoin after Binance announced that it will delist BSV on 22nd of April at 3:30 PM IST. The price of BSV after this announcement tanked as much as 10%, and the price of BCH jumped more than 13%, showing the influence of Binance over cryptocurrency markets. But as if it was not enough, the troubles of BSV are getting more serious now as more exchanges consider delisting it.

That’s right. After Binance at least two other exchanges are also moving on the path of delisting BSV. While Shapeshift CEO has declared that BSV will be delisted within 48 hrs, Kraken is holding a Twitter poll to figure out whether it should or should not do the same. And that Twitter poll – which has received as many as 64,000+ votes at the time of writing this article – is also showing that an overwhelming majority of Kraken users (as many as 72%) want BSV to be delisted! If Kraken decides to go by the findings of its Twitter poll, BSV may soon turn into junk as other major exchanges may also follow the suit.

However, in the meantime some positive news has also come for BSV. Not every major exchange out there is considering to delist it right away, as OKEx has announced that it will keep BSV “for time being”. But that announcement alone can’t reverse the impact of Shapeshift, Kraken and Binance delisting BSV. If other exchanges also decided to delist BSV in next few days, OKEx will also not be able to hold on to it for too long.

To recall, Craig Wright gave air to a storm after he recently took legal action against several of his critics, including Twitter user Hodlnaut. Wright declared a $5,000 bounty against Hodlnaut and said that anyone who reveals his/her identity will be given this reward in BSV. In response, the hashtag #WeAreAllHodlnaut was created by crypto community members to show support for the user of that mysterious Twitter account. Wright also issued legal notices to many other critics of him, including the host of ‘What Bitcoin Did’ podcast Peter McCormack.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao had warned Craig Wright well in advance before the delisting. But Craig seems to have taken things lightly. And now BSV is paying the price. His actions have found a detractor in John McAfee as well, and now we’re wondering whether or not he’ll issue a legal notice to McAfee too!
